In 2001 The Redzovic Brothers were the first Americans given the honor to represent Master Carlos Gracie Jr. of the legendary Gracie Jiu Jitsu family.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu ( BJJ ) in Chicago has gained popularity in recent years, and for good reason. Across the globe thousands of people are reaping benefits from studying this modern combative art. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has been tried and tested in real life situations and in the ring. Many police departments and military branches have discovered the benefit of teaching this practical style to their officers and soldiers. But Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is not only for professional fighters. No matter you age or fitness level you too can benefit from training at our Training center.

Krav Maga - Self-Defense

TOP LEVEL MMA Krav MagaKrav maga is Hebrew for "contact combat" or "contact fight." It is a hand-to-hand combat system used by the Israeli military.

Developed by Imi Lictenfeld Krav Maga has a philosophy emphasizing threat neutralization, simultaneous defensive and offensive maneuvers, and aggression.

If your goal is mainly self defense and awareness- these classes are a must as we focus training on stress drills and fight techniques to prepare you both physically and mentally for potential situations. At the same time- you stay fit!

Muay Thai

Muay Thai is a combat sport from Thailand known as the science of 8 limbs. Muay Thai features punches, kicks, elbows, knees, standing grappling, and head-butts to wear down and knock out their opponent.

Thai training methods develop devastating power, speed and superb cardiovascular endurance as well as fighting spirit.

Muay Thai training is also quite safe thanks to sophisticated pad training that evolved to keep fighters healthy between fights.

Muay Thai has also proven very effective outside the ring and has been embraced enthusiastically by practitioners of a variety of self-defense, sporting, military and law enforcement activities.

MMA (Mixed Martial Arts)

At TOP LEVEL MMA we have an experienced group of trainers to prepare you for mixed martial arts competitions.

We offer Intro to MMA classes to help get you started on the right path.

What is exactly MMA? Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) is a full contact combat sport that allows the use of both striking and grappling techniques, both standing and on the ground, including boxing, wrestling, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, muay Thai, kickboxing, karate, judo and other styles.

The roots of modern mixed martial arts can be traced back to the ancient Olympic combat sport of Pankration. Various mixed style contests also took place throughout Europe, Japan and the Pacific Rim during the early 1900s.

The combat sport of Vale Tudo that had developed in Brazil from the 1920s was brought to the United States by the Gracie family in 1993 with the founding of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), which is currently the largest MMA promotion company worldwide. Prior to the UFC, professional MMA events had also been held in Japan by Shooto since 1989.

This is a unique opportunity for Chicago to showcase some of the best fighters in the MidWest.

We will coach you in all 4 aspects of mixed martial arts: wrestling, boxing, muay thai, and jiu-jitsu.

TOP LEVEL MMA martial arts for kidsOur Kids Mini MMA program offers a combination of stand up and ground skills to focus on self-defense and maintaining a healthy lifestyle and attitude. This will help gain confidence and self esteem and learn to apply that confidence to other challenging areas of their life.

Not to mention improving physical fitness levels, overall agility, gross motor skills, hand eye coordination, and athletic ability all in a friendly, safe and fun environment!

We design our children's programs to instill confidence, respect for others and self-discipline which are necessary life skills .Our curriculum uses a mix of traditional TaeKwonDo, Brazilian JiuJitsu, KravMaga, Boxing and Muay Thai all in a blend we call “Mini MMA”. We offer a safe learning environment that provides your child with the supervision, instruction, and coaching they need in order to truly learn and enjoy the mixed martial arts.

At Top Level, we teach kids that martial arts is not only about self-defense, it is about building character.

Vinyasa Yoga

TOP LEVEL MMA martial arts for kidsVinyasa is a style of yoga in which movement is synchronized to the breath . This style is sometimes also called flow yoga, because of the smooth way that the poses run together fluidly. The breath becomes an important component as you will be instructed to move from one pose to the next on an inhale or an exhale.

Vinyasa is literally translated from Sanskrit as meaning "connection. This style allows for a lot of variety, but you can always expect movement, not just stretching.

Like all yoga, Vinyasa has both mental and physical benefits. Physically, you get your heart rate up, release toxins and re-energize your body. Mentally, the synchronized breathing relaxes your mind and helps to release any blockage of energy flow throughout your body.

Kombat Fitness

Kombat Fitness is a total body workout combined with plyometric and cardiovascular exercises while utilizing the basic combative strikes from boxing and kick boxing

Kombat Fitness accommodates all levels no matter what experience you have. It will increase your stamina, flexibility and strength and burn those calories while having fun!!!
